April & Ben ~ October 13, 2013

April and Ben were married at Villa Siena October 13, 2013. They brought their sense of style and individuality to each detail of the wedding ceremony and reception. The couple met through mutual friends when Ben moved to Arizona. Close friends were present with fourteen members included in the bridal party. Ben’s friends, male and female stood next to him for the ceremony.

The ceremony took place indoors in La Stanza Chianciano. April chose a lace dress with off-the-shoulder-sleeves, fitted bodice and train. Her hair was worn in an up-do that perfectly suited her. Her bouquet was a stunning arrangement of dusty pink and white roses, with leaves and long grasses creating a draping effect. April’s shoes were champagne colored, matching the bridesmaid’s gowns of champagne satin. Ben wore a black tuxedo that looked like a period piece with walking stick and top hat. His groomsmen wore black tuxedos with long jackets, champagne colored vests and ties and black shirts.

During the wedding the couple performed a sand ceremony, which included their two-year-old son. Each poured different colored sand into a framed picture of the family. To thank their mothers for doing all they did to raise them, they were presented with roses during the ceremony.

Afterwards guests mingled. Seating cards for dinner were held between three wine corks wrapped with ribbon and finished with a tiny flower. Fresh flowers filled the room and created a spectacular wedding cake. The top and bottom layers were wrapped in fresh dusty pink and white roses, with a detailed gold middle layer.

While the first dance was a traditional one, Ben took the opportunity to dip his new bride soliciting a warm smile from his wife. The couple also celebrated an Italian dance with the bride and groom seated in chairs that were lifted high.

White and milk chocolate fountains flowed with fresh fruit for guests to fill themselves with sweetness.

Congratulations April and Ben. May each day of your married life together be filled with the smiles and laughter shared on your wedding day.
