Ana & David ~ July 3, 2015

July-Wedding-Ceremony (3)

Ana and David first met in September of 2012 at a youth group meeting where David was playing guitar in a band. He had to muster the courage to introduce himself to Ana. They were married July 3, 2015.
Instead of a guest book, friends and family were asked to sign a large C that the couple will hang in their home.
For her wedding, Ana made for a picture perfect bride in a delicate lace gown with high neckline. Her hair was worn in an up-do with a fascinator and veil attached below the up-do. She carried a white rose bouquet. Her bridesmaids wore champagne colored floor-length gowns with beaded bodices. David was handsome in a black tuxedo with black bowtie and a white shirt. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black ties and white shirts.

To set the mood for the wedding a string duet played as guests were seated and during the ceremony. For the indoor ceremony a flower petal design decorated the runner down the aisle where Ana walked to her groom.
The officiant, the couple’s uncle, performed the ceremony in Spanish. As part of the ceremony they lit a unity candle to bring their two lives together as one. During the reception the father of the groom and the groom gave speeches in Spanish. On the reserved family tables there were special frames with pictures of the bride and groom.
Taking to the dance floor, the couple celebrated their first dance to Lighthouse by Patrick Watson followed by the father & daughter dance to I Loved Her First. Throughout the night Latino and Mexican music played. To liven things up there was a kissing couple’s game. Four tiers of wedding cake were served for dessert. The cake was decorated with white fondant and detailed with vertical gold stripes.

Congratulations Ana & David. May the spark that first brought you together only burn brighter as the years pass. We wish you the best.
