Spring is an amazing time of year for a wedding. Flowers and trees are budding, fragrance is in the air and the season of growth and vibrancy has begun. March 10, 2013 marked the day that Andrew and Anastacia decided to let their love grow. The couple met at a Halloween party in 2006. After the party Anastacia found Andrew on Myspace and the relationship began.
Guests were seated for the wedding ceremony before the bridesmaids built the anticipation for the big moment when Anastacia would walk down the aisle. They wore above the knee navy dresses with white shoes and carried bouquets of pink roses and gerbera daisies.
When Anastacia walked down the aisle in a strapless gown with sweetheart neckline, an A-line skirt and a beautiful diamond hairpiece covered by a cathedral length veil with lace edging, the crowd was wowed. The groom met his bride in a grey tuxedo with silver tie and grey sneakers. The groomsmen also wore grey sneakers but had pink ties with pink roses pinned to their lapels.
During the ceremony the couple exchanged personal vows they each wrote. Andrew talked about his best moments with the bride while the bride admitted she took her parent’s advice regarding finding a man who was generous, caring and a good cook, not to mention tall. After the ceremony the bride’s father welcomed Andrew to the ‘dark side,’ and they took a tequila shot together.
The groom was given a batman action figure as a wedding gift and a groom’s cake featured a batman figure and the batman spotlight call in frosting. For the rest of the guests cupcakes were served in a variety of flavors. The creativity continued with the groom making some amazing personalized movie posters such as Ana in Wonderland, Back to the Nuptials, the Hadder Games and Star Weds.
During the first dance, the couple shared a passionate kiss as The Beatle’s Real Love played. At the end of the night the couple donned Mickey and Minnie Mouse bride and groom hats as they left under an arch of sparklers.
