Ally & Chris ~ November 15, 2012

November 15, 2012 was the celebration of Ally and Chris’ love. Ally chose a simple strapless gown that had just a little lace detailing around the hips. Her hair was worn in a half up-do, but it was her smile that caught everyone’s attention and lit up the day. The bridesmaids wore orange floor-length dresses. All the bouquets were orange and red.

At the edge end of each aisle of chairs was either a red or orange flower ball of roses. Laid across the altar was a beautiful floral arrangement with white candles burning. At the altar, Chris waited for the moment when he would see his bride. He wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt, tie and vest. The groomsmen wore orange ties and vests with orange roses aflame on their lapels. As Ally walked toward her groom, all eyes were on her. During the ceremony, the officiant spoke of the importance of forgiveness and communication in a marriage.

During the reception, little colored firefly-like lights were cast on the walls. The first dance was to Adele’s Make You Feel My Love, followed by the father/daughter dance to Darius Rucker’s “It Won’t Be Like This For Long.”

A beautiful framed photograph of the couple was set next to the guestbook.  Their friends offered advice and a few laughs during the speeches. The maid of honor spoke of how happy she was that Ally found Chris and how Chris was the only guy Ally had dated that she approved of. The best man talked about his friendship with Chris that began in elementary school. He complimented Ally’s beauty before wondering, “how did Chris end up with a beautiful girl like Ally?”

A chocolate fountain was stationed for guests with a sweet tooth. Favors were individual cookies shaped and decorated like a fall leaf or an acorn. The cake was four tiers of white fondant frosting, with orange fall leaves as décor.

Congratulations Chris and Ally. We wish you both the best together.
