Tiffany & Ted ~ October 21, 2012

October 21, 2012 welcomed Tiffany and Ted to Villa Siena. The couple originally met in grade school. They shared the same school through high school before they went their separate ways. Later they found one another again through mutual friends.

The groom wore his military uniform for the ceremony while Tiffany looked elegant in a strapless dress. Tiffany paired the delicacy of the dress with aquamarine drop earrings and necklace. Her bouquet was mostly made up of white roses with some greenery and white decorative flowers wrapped with lace. The bride’s hair was curled softly and held back from her face with crystals. The dress laced up the back. The couple’s two daughters and a niece served as bridesmaids.

Tiffany’s brother walked her down the aisle. The bride’s father’s presence was very much a part of the day. During the reception Tiffany noted how much she wished her dad had been able to be there for this special day.

The couple had a daytime ceremony and brunch to follow, enjoying the bright summer sun. Tables were done with black tablecloths and white napkins. Centerpieces were little trees that could later be planted.

The wedding cake was simple with a surprise. There were three tiers; each tier held up by columns. The first tier had flowers in fondant, the second had a harlequin design with gold candy beads and the top layer was plain with a red rose bouquet on top. However, when guests looked more closely they were able to the tiny snipers set in among the layers, a nod to Ted’s military career. The cake was a vanilla and pink champagne flavor.

Favors were CDs with love songs on them and a ‘Thank You’ on the cover. Congratulations Tiffany and Ted. May you have a long and fulfilling life together.
