Guests were ushered into Villa Siena by a sign reading Welcome to the wedding of Melinda & Adam. The sign was topped with a fresh floral garland. The venue is particularly special for the couple because Melinda is one of the event coordinators at Villa Siena!

After having known each other for eleven years, Melinda and Adam decided to marry January 10, 2015. During their wedding ceremony, the officiant talked about the couple’s journey together over the past seven years and how they have supported one another through everything.

For the ceremony, Melinda chose a gown with delicate features. Her gown was finished with intricate beading across the bodice, with lace detail flowing down a full skirt. A sheer panel at the neckline was edged with crystal beading. The sheer panel continued through the back of the gown where white satin covered buttons stood out. Instead of a veil, Melinda wore a headband of pearls and diamonds. Tucked under her dress was a blush lace garter also accented with pearls and sparkle. By her side throughout the day were her bridesmaids dressed in burgundy gowns with differing necklines. Both the bride and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of blush and ivory roses with burgundy peonies. Adam chose a classic tuxedo with black vest, black tie and white shirt for the wedding. A white ranunculus marked his lapel and white handkerchief rested in his breast pocket. Adam’s groomsmen were also in black tuxedos.

At the guest sign-in table, a framed Thank You to friends and family acknowledged their support, encouragement, love and laughter. In cocktail hour, another note remembered those who the couple knew would be here today, if heaven weren’t so far away. To begin the reception, the father of the bride gave a welcome speech. Later in the evening Melinda’s sister livened things up with a speech to the rap of the The Real Slim Shady by Eminem. The couple drank to toasts from personalized Mr. and Mrs. champagne flutes.

Sweetness was served in the form of a four-tiered cake with different flavors including vanilla, red velvet and carrot cake. The tiers alternated between a shimmering fondant finish and a mini quilted finish. Fresh flowers and an Always and Forever topper accented the cake. Favors were mini desserts with a Merci Beaucoup sticker. The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Before leaving, the bride changed into a fitted rose gold sequined gown with cap sleeves and a low back.
