Alice and Henry met on their first day of their senior year in high school. That love lasted until they were married recently at Villa Siena. For her celebration, the bride chose a lace gown from David\u2019s Bridal. The dress had an empire waist emphasized by a sash. Alice\u2019s veil was finished with floral embroidery. Around her neck she wore a chunky pearl and diamond antique necklace. A bouquet of soft pink roses, petite roses and hydrangeas, along with a few strands of green grass, made the bridal bouquet. The bridesmaid\u2019s dresses were of pink chiffon and flowed to the ground. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of baby\u2019s breath. The groom wore a black tuxedo with white vest, white tie and shirt. The flower girls were dressed in pink and gold gowns. The groom wore a black tuxedo with silver vest, white tie and shirt. Alice\u2019s mother walked her daughter down the aisle to her future husband. As part of the wedding, the couple performed a rope ceremony. Alice and Henry\u2019s ceremony was performed in French by one pastor, while a second pastor translated the ceremony to English. A friend of the bride and groom gave an acoustic guitar performance.<\/p>\n\"View<\/a>\n

In the front entrance, a hand painted family tree hung. A framed chalkboard told the couple\u2019s love story from the date they first met to their first kiss, first date and date of engagement. The display also told the places the couple has traveled together, their favorite quote, and their next stop: their honeymoon. During the reception they enlisted friends and family to use cameras provided to them to capture different moments throughout the night, from friends laughing, a couple smiling, a warm embrace or the clink of a glass or two.<\/p>\n\"View<\/a>\n

A friend of the groom sang At Last,<\/em> originally performed by Etta James, for the couple\u2019s first dance. The performance was a surprise for the couple. There was also a bouquet toss for the single ladies, who pinned veils in their hair in preparation for becoming the next bride.<\/p>\n\"View<\/a>\n

Instead of a single wedding cake, six individual cakes were clustered together, each with buttercream frosting and piping details. On the tallest cake, a miniature groom\u2019s tuxedo and bride\u2019s dress served as toppers. An engraved cake cutter helped serve up cake to guests. Favors were key bottle openers and matches. Each table had truffles for the guests with a sign saying The Perfect Match<\/em> and a key to the couple\u2019s heart, which was a key shaped bottle opener.<\/p>\n
