Shades of blue and purple marked the color scheme for Kelsey and Matthew\u2019s wedding November 7, 2014. Blues and purples showed up in the bridal bouquet with purple poppies, lavender roses and more, in rose flower balls hanging from the aisles of chairs and in the bridesmaids dresses, with each dress being a different color from sky blue to indigo blue to lavender.<\/p>\n\"GlyWed-1128\"<\/a>\n

Friends and family gathered to see Kelsey and Matthew marry. The couple met in math class where they sat next to each other on the first day. A family friend served as officiant for the ceremony where the couple read their own vows and performed a sand ceremony. Other personal touches included votive candle holders made from lace from Kelsey\u2019s mother\u2019s wedding dress and custom napkins said \u201cAll of me Loves all of you – Kelsey & Matt.\u2019<\/p>\n\"GlyWed-1106\"<\/a>\n

For the wedding ceremony, Matthew wore a black tuxedo with white vest and white bowtie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black bowties. Kelsey\u2019s Casa Blanca wedding gown came from Kara\u2019s Bridal. The dress was stunning with a fitted bodice and full tulle skirt with lace edging towards the bottom of the skirt. The dress was belted at the waist with beading. Underneath the dress, blue satin heels poked out and offered the \u2018something blue\u2019 for her wedding day, as did the \u2018Something Blue\u2019 signature drink that was served after the ceremony.<\/p>\n\"GlyWed-1308\"<\/a>\n

Speeches included the father of the bride saying of Kelsey that she captured his heart the day she was born and was Daddy\u2019s little girl, which was perfectly in line with the song they chose for the father & daughter dance: I Loved Her First<\/em> by Heartland. The best man joked that Matt was supposed to help him in math class but was too busy with Kelsey instead. The couple\u2019s first dance was to John Legend\u2019s All of Me<\/em> followed by the mother & son dance to I Hope You Dance<\/em> by Lee Ann Womack.<\/p>\n\"GlyWed-1318\"<\/a>\n

A three-tiered vanilla and chocolate wedding cake was covered in buttercream frosting with blue ombre polka dots as decoration and a \u2018g\u2019 cake topper and was served after dinner.<\/p>\n\"GlyWed-1408\"<\/a>\n

Knowing the wedding celebration was going to be a good one, favors were hangover kits with water bottles. A photo booth was set up with a sign saying \u2018Strike a pose, help fill our scrap book and make some memories – the camera is ready for fun!\u2019 An Instagram account was also set up so guests could share their memories.<\/p>\n
