For Michelle and Dave\u2019s wedding the couple chose a white and yellow color scheme. The couple originally met in Flagstaff, Arizona. Instead of having their ceremony facing the fireplace, Michelle and Dave chose to say their vows under the green ivy arches of the Toscana courtyard.<\/p>\n\"110114-0166\"<\/a>\n

The bride wore a gown with a V-neck that was accented by a diamond necklace. The bride\u2019s gown had wide straps with an empire waist and flowing skirt. Her bridesmaids were in yellow knee length chiffon dresses. She carried white flowers with yellow marigolds in a bouquet. On the bottom of her shoes the words \u2018I Do\u2019 were in crystals while the bottom of the groom\u2019s shoes said \u2018Me Too.\u2019 Dave wore a grey tuxedo with ivory tie and white shirt. A yellow flower sat in his lapel. His groomsmen were dressed the same as the groom. To start the wedding the bride walked down the aisle with her dad. The wedding party of eight bridesmaids and eight groomsmen were by their friend\u2019s sides throughout the day.<\/p>\n\"110114-0319\"<\/a>\n

As guests gathered for the ceremony, they were welcomed to \u2018pick a seat and not a side.\u2019 There were several signs placed around the Villa that said, A true love story never ends, <\/em>and every love story is beautiful but ours is my favorite<\/em> and All because two people fell in love. <\/em>A wood sign said I Love Us.<\/em> After the ceremony everyone continued the celebrations, which culminated in the serving of the wedding cake.<\/p>\n\"110114-0430\"<\/a>\n

The wedding cake was a four-tiered white cake. Alternating tiers were covered in flowers while the remainder was plain. White fondant flowers and a fondant M & D on the second layer personalized the cake. The cake topper was of a groom on one knee kissing his bride\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n

During toasts, the bride\u2019s mother talked about how Michelle was her best friend before welcoming Dave into the family. The bride\u2019s sister and groom\u2019s brother both gave sweet speeches about their siblings and new siblings-in-law.<\/p>\n\"110114-0596\"<\/a>\n

They had a traditional first dance to Pistol<\/em> by Dustin Kensrue. That was followed by a \u2018married couple\u2019 dance to see who had been married the longest. The \u2018married couple\u2019 dance was to Stand By Me<\/em> by Ben E. King.<\/p>\n

For entertainment fill-in-the-blank stories were given to guests to fill out. Favors were wildflowers in packets that said, \u201cMichelle and David are wildly in love!\u201d Congratulations Michelle and Dave. We wish that every moment together is better than the last. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
