September 12, 2014 Dawn and Joel welcomed friends and family to Villa Siena to celebrate their wedding day. The couple chose a wine themed wedding with purple and pink accents throughout.<\/p>\n\"FaaWed-1166\"<\/a>\n

For the celebration, the bride was dressed in a Vera Wang strapless gown with rouching to the hips and a ruffled skirt. A beaded belt at the empire waist added definition and sparkle. Dawn\u2019s bouquet brought together dark purple, light purple and pink roses, which were embellished with crystals. Her bridesmaids wore purple strapless dresses with belted waists and a wrapped skirt embellished with a ruffle. The groom touched on the lavender accents with a black tuxedo with lavender vest and tie while his groomsmen wore deep purple vests and ties with their tuxedos.<\/p>\n\"FaaWed-1344\"<\/a>\n

The outdoor wedding ceremony featured a white runner with purple flower petals along the edges. Purple sashes were tied with bows around each chair. On the altar a floral arrangement and candles added ambiance.<\/p>\n

For the ceremony the couple wrote special love letters to each other. Letters from their parents along with a bottle of wine were enclosed in a handcrafted wooden box for them to open on their first wedding anniversary. The ceremony closed with a Hawaiian blessing.<\/p>\n\"FaaWed-1179\"<\/a>\n

For the reception, the couple slid table seating cards in wine corks. The head table was finished with purple linens.<\/p>\n

During speeches Joel\u2019s best man proclaimed that after twenty-five years of friendship you become brothers.\u00a0 Dawn\u2019s maid of honor said that when Joel planned Dawn\u2019s 40th<\/sup> birthday party she realized how much he loved her.<\/p>\n\"FaaWed-1357\"<\/a>\n

Guests were invited to enjoy a purple and white candy table with M&Ms with joined hearts, purple jellybeans, purple and silver Hershey\u2019s kisses and purple licorice. The wedding cake was three tiers with the top and bottom tiers decorated with a rose design and a middle layer with plain fondant and a purple bow in it. On top of the cake was a delicate purple fondant flower.<\/p>\n\"FaaWed-1157\"<\/a>\n

The day was a wonderful celebration of friends and family. Congratulations Dawn and Joel. May your future together shine as brightly as the smiles you shared with each other on your wedding day. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
