Spring weddings are some of the most popular at Villa Siena. The weather offers the perfect escape for those up north and locals alike. On May 18th<\/sup>, 2012 Katie arrived at the Villa, stepping out of her limousine in a robe so she could begin to prepare for her big day. \u00a0Guests were offered monogrammed fans to keep them cool while everyone got settled. Katie\u2019s bridesmaids surrounded her to help her into her dress and make sure everything was perfect. The design of the wedding was one of light, airy softness, from the color scheme of champagne and pale pink, to the bridesmaid\u2019s dresses that flowed out from an empire waist to the floor, reminiscent of goddesses. They each had bouquets of pale pink roses that were slightly smaller than the bride\u2019s.\u00a0 When the bride made her grand entrance, she looked as if she stepped out of a Renaissance painting. She wore a fitted gown with a diamond-encrusted band around an empire waist. The dress flared out from the knee into a sweeping train that was fastened at the side. Katie wore a ballerina veil that reached to the point where the gown flowed out. Her hair was worn up with the veil fastened within the curls of her bun. Very simple jewelry finished the look as well as blue bejeweled flats for the bride and champagne bejeweled flats for the bridesmaids. Her groom, Levi, was debonair in a black tuxedo with white shirt and a striped white tie. His mother pinned on his boutonni\u00e8re before he headed to the alter. The couple had a beautiful ceremony including a sand ceremony, where their lives became intermingled. After the vows were exchanged, guests were greeted with blown up photos of the couple and a guest book to sign. During the reception, a personalized slideshow gave a visual history of the bride and groom as they grew up and throughout their relationship. Mr. and Mrs. signs waited, draped over the couple\u2019s chairs as they made their grand entrance. Each table had a centerpiece of candelabras with pink roses flowing out of the top. Long-stemmed pink roses lined the buffet table and a pink-themed candy bar offered guests pink taffy, watermelon jolly ranchers, white-chocolate covered pretzels and more. The bride and groom stepped on to the dance floor for their first dance to You Are the Daybreak <\/em>by Kevin Devine. Then Katie\u2019s father stole a moment with his daughter as My Little Girl<\/em> by Tim McGraw played. Levi and his mother joined in halfway through the song. Guests feasted on dinner before the cake-cutting ceremony. That\u2019s Amore<\/em> played in the background as the couple sweetly fed each other a piece of cake. Their topper, a traditional bride and groom, was accompanied by a dog. As the night wound down, the flower girl was asked her favorite part of the wedding. Her response was \u201cDo I really have to choose? My favorite part is ALL of it!\u201d We felt the same way. Katie and Levi ended the night with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell.
