On September 16, 2011 Melissa and Jesus (a.k.a. Chuy)\u00a0 \u00a0were married at Villa Siena. Their love story began back in 1992 when Melissa and Chuy first met. \u00a0\u00a0They hit it off immediately as partners on the police force and later partners as police detectives. They were close friends for several years.\u00a0\u00a0 As time went by they became more than just friends and partners, they became each other\u2019s soul mates. \u00a0\u00a0Sounds like a perfect story line for a movie, right?\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

On this picture perfect fall day, Melissa and Chuy hired a string quartet from a local high school to play for the ceremony. \u00a0\u00a0The quartet provided the perfect touch to the intimate indoor ceremony. \u00a0\u00a0Both Melissa and Chuy included their daughters; Alyssa and Arabella with a special sand ceremony. \u00a0\u00a0The combining of different colors of sand represented the fact that they were no longer separate families but together they became one family. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Melissa and Chuy chose the romantic color scheme red, black, and white, with accents of black and white damask all throughout. \u00a0The tables were adorned with beautiful white hydrangeas draped with crystals, adding a touch of elegance. \u00a0\u00a0Friends and family kept the celebration in high gear all night with some pretty impressive dance moves! \u00a0\u00a0As the evening came to a close, Melissa and Chuy were sent off in style by friends and family under a tunnel of sparklers!
