Meredith and Devon consecrated their love November 21, 2014 when the couple married. Guests of the bride and groom were welcomed to Villa Siena with a \u2018D\u2019 hanging from one side of the entrance gates and an \u2018M\u2019 hanging from the other gate. A white runner, with lavender petals lining it, led to the altar where a fire brought warmth to the day. A beautiful lavender and white rose floral arrangement sat on the ledge of the altar. Violinists and a cello player welcomed guests to the courtyard where the ceremony would take place.<\/p>\n\"OweWed-1214\"<\/a>\n

As part of the wedding celebration the bride and groom nailed shut a wooden box that encased a bottle of wine with letters to one another to be opened on their 10th<\/sup> wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n

The bride wore an Allure lace gown with a gorgeous sheer lace back and flowing train. Her hair was curled and worn in an up-do. Her veil sparkled with crystal edging. The bridal bouquet brought together purple calla lilies, lavender and white roses and purple tulips. Devon was handsome in his army dress blues. His groomsmen wore grey tuxedos with purple ties and vests, each with a lavender rose in their lapel, which complimented the bridesmaids\u2019 ensembles of purple dresses with lace straps and sheer purple wraps.<\/p>\n\"OweWed-1387\"<\/a>\n

In the Chianciano Room, tables were set for an intimate reception. Centerpieces were vases of varying heights filled with clear glass beads, a floating rose and a votive candle burning on top. The bridal party sat at their own table.<\/p>\n

And It Goes Like This<\/em> by Thomas Rhett marked the couple\u2019s first dance followed by the father and daughter dance to Darius Rucker\u2019s It Won\u2019t Be Like This For Long. <\/em>The mother and son song offered the sentiment of God Gave Me You<\/em> by Blake Shelton.<\/p>\n\"OweWed-1396\"<\/a>\n

A three-tiered wedding cake added a little sweetness to the day. Each tier was a different shape, the bottom being square, the middle hexagonal and the top round with a silver \u2018O\u2019 in silver perched atop. The day finished with smiles and warmth all around.<\/p>\n

Congratulations Meredith and Devon. May you constantly unravel new layers of beauty and joy in your marriage. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
