Crystal and Brandon met while serving together in the Army in Iraq. The couple married June 21, 2014 at Villa Siena. The outdoor ceremony was personalized by a red runner with a floral arrangement of snapdragons, roses, tulips and wisteria in purple and white on the altar. Flower balls hung off the ends of each aisle of chairs. The photographer was a friend of the bride and groom and thus able to capture the true essence of the couple and their love throughout the day.<\/p>\n\"Ceremony<\/a>\n

For her wedding day, Crystal was dressed in a flowing gown with empire waist. Her hair was worn in an up-do with a headband and veil. David\u2019s Bridal was chosen for her wedding gown as well as her bridesmaid\u2019s dresses. The bride carried a bouquet mostly of white roses, tulips and snapdragons with purple wisteria for accents while her bridesmaids bouquets were purple accented with white. The bridesmaids were light and summery in purple strapless knee-length dresses with a sash around the waist and light crystal detailing. Brandon wore a grey tuxedo with white shirt and tie while his groomsmen wore grey tuxedos with white shirts, purple vests and ties.<\/p>\n\"Ceremony<\/a>\n

As part of the wedding rituals, the couple performed a sand ceremony with purple and white sand. The groom, in the Jewish tradition, broke a glass at their wedding as guests cheered \u201cMazel tov.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the speeches, the father of the groom gave his son a treasured autographed baseball, which was meant to represent the notion of always playing fair with one another.<\/p>\n\"Reception<\/a>\n

Sade\u2019s By Your Side<\/em> played for the couple\u2019s first dance. Instead of having a father & daughter dance, the couple joined the groom\u2019s parents on the dance floor for I Hope You Dance<\/em> by Lee Ann Womack followed by a dance with the bride\u2019s parents to Wonderful World<\/em> by Louis Armstrong.<\/p>\n

A sweets table served as favors where guests got to fill little paper bags with pruple and white candy. The wedding cake was three tiers with each tier slanted on top of one another decorated with purple piping on the bottom of each tier. The table where the wedding cake was displayed was wrapped in tulle with white lights twinkling underneath.<\/p>\n\"Reception<\/a>\n
