Roger proposed to Katie at a Baltimore Ravens & Pittsburg Steelers game. She accepted and the couple was married July 19, 2014 at a Catholic Church. Their reception was held at Villa Siena. Guests were greeted by pictures of the couple and a heart that guests could sign or offer advice. From there the day was filled with joy.<\/p>\n\"katie+roger_wed-0325\"<\/a>\n

The newlyweds and their bridal party posed for photographs with Katie in a strapless gown that offered an hourglass silhouette. The dress was embroidered on top with slight pintucks on the skirt. Her hair was worn in an up-do while a pair of diamond drop earrings added some sparkle. Red roses and burgundy calla lilies made up the bridal bouquet. Her bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the same bouquet and wore black knee-length dresses with red heels.<\/p>\n\"katie+roger_wed-0326\"<\/a>\n

The groom chose a black tuxedo with black bowtie and white shirt with a red handkerchief and calla lily in his lapel. His groomsmen also wore black tuxedos but with red bowties.<\/p>\n

Guests were seated for dinner at tables with bouquets of red roses. Before the meal began, the bride\u2019s father said grace.<\/p>\n\"katie+roger_wed-0295\"<\/a>\n

As the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance to Rascal Flats Bless this Broken Road,<\/em> guests threw coins on the dance floor for good luck. The first dance was followed by Daddy\u2019s Angel <\/em>by T. Carter Music. Lee Ann Womack\u2019s I Hope You Dance<\/em> played for the mother\/son dance.<\/p>\n

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple served five tiers of red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. The top tier was a small cake of white fondant and black polk-a-dots with a black satin ribbon tied around it. On top sat a cake topper of a couple.<\/p>\n\"katie+roger_wed-0287\"<\/a>\n

Favors were mini bottles of red wine.<\/p>\n

Congratulations Katie and Roger. May your lives together have the excitement of the Super Bowl, the dedication of an enduring sport and the love of following your passion. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
