Nichole and DJ met in college through the bride\u2019s maid of honor. Seven years later they decided to marry. May 25, 2014 marked the wedding day of this bright, beautiful couple.<\/p>\n\"MelWed-1109\"<\/a>\n

For the ceremony, Nichole wore her hair in an up-do with a cathedral length veil. Diamond drop earrings illuminated the look. The bride perfectly suited her fitted gown with lace overlay. The dress finished with a slight mermaid flair and belted waist. Nichole\u2019s groom DJ wore a grey tuxedo with a black tie. His groomsmen matched the groom. The bridesmaids brought an ethereal look to the ceremony with blush colored flowing dresses with rouching on top and edging along the bottom hem. Each bridesmaid wore a silver necklace with a single black pearl hanging down. While the bride\u2019s bouquet featured pink roses, and fairy like white flowers with eucalyptus leaves, the bridesmaid\u2019s bouquets were a simpler version including only the fairy flower.<\/p>\n\"MelWed-1315\"<\/a>\n

As guests entered the Villa, they were greeted with pictures of the couple from childhood. Fans during the ceremony served as programs and helped keep guests cool. On the altar crystal candleholders with round candles set in them were displayed.<\/p>\n

The speeches were warm and welcoming with the maid of honor proclaiming how happy she was for the couple and so glad they found each other through her. The best man talked about the groom being like a brother to him.<\/p>\n\"MelWed-1325\"<\/a>\n

The warmth and love continued through the first dance with John Legend\u2019s All of Me. <\/em>Afterwards guests got to take home pictures from the photobooth. Props were provided for more creative photographs.<\/p>\n

The wedding cake was three tiers. The top tier featured red velvet cake with a ruffled layer of frosting on top with fresh flowers. In the middle, lemon raspberry cake was decorated with a monogrammed M and for the bottom layer of double chocolate cake, ruffled roses decorated the exterior.<\/p>\n\"MelWed-1333\"<\/a>\n

Congratulations Nichole and DJ. May the rest of your lives together be as exciting and new as the first seven. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
