Friends are often the best way to meet your true love and such was the case with Kristen and Lamec who met at a friend\u2019s birthday party two years ago. The couple lit a unity candle to create one brighter flame from two candles that represented their two lives as one.<\/p>\n\"188\"<\/a>\n

For the wedding, Kristen chose a stunning fitted strapless dress with embroidery and a train. Slight sequined detailing glittered in the light, as did the crystal belt that wrapped the dress. The bride\u2019s shoes had a crystal pattern. Underneath the dress, satin shoes with a crystal pattern hid. Kristen\u2019s bridesmaids wore pale pink strapless dresses with a satin ribbon at an empire waist. The bride opted for a drop bouquet filled with pale pink roses, orchids and hydrangeas while her bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the same bouquet. Lamec wore a traditional black tuxedo but added his own personality with red racecar cufflinks. His groomsmen also wore black tuxedos with grey bowties while the groom had a black bowtie.<\/p>\n\"361\"<\/a>\n

Guests were encouraged to fill out Madlibs offering the couple quirky advice and a few good laughs. The welcome table was filled with pictures of Kristen and Lamec from childhood on.<\/p>\n

The wedding ceremony was held indoors with the aisle lined with candles and rose petals. In his speech, the father of the bride thanked everyone for coming.<\/p>\n\"483\"<\/a>\n

Instead of a traditional guest book\u00a0for friends and family to sign, the couple used a photobooth for pictures of everyone for their guest book. Favors were coffee beans from Honduras.<\/p>\n

While the cake was a sweet delight, it couldn\u2019t steal the sweetness that was shared between the newlyweds. The three-tiered wedding cake had a rhinestone ribbon around each layer with a plain top tier and decorative piping on the second and third layers.<\/p>\n\"341\"<\/a>\n

The day was a beautiful day and we offer our heartfelt congratulations. May all your days shine as brightly as you both did on your wedding day. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
