June 8, 2012 saw white roses blooming throughout Villa Siena as sunny days continued into June. Roses weren\u2019t the only things blooming; Courtney\u2019s smile opened up throughout the day, especially once the ceremony was finished and the reception began. Most people feel a little nervous on the big day with so many people\u2019s attention focused on them in preparation for the commitment they are about to make, but the pure happiness the couple emanated once the formalities were over was evident. Courtney had no problem drawing all eyes to her in a gown with a beaded bust and layered midsection that opened up into a modest train. Her long hair was swept off her face and fastened by a diamond hairpin into a lose bun with soft curls. The diamonds in her hair were picked up in the choice of pearl and diamond necklace, diamond earrings with pearl drops and a diamond bracelet. The bride\u2019s bouquet mixed violet and white flowers with a few green buds, a color scheme that was repeated throughout the wedding. Bridesmaids wore sleeveless knee-length violet dresses with a high neckline and were accented with bouquets similar to the bride\u2019s. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black ties while the groom wore a black tuxedo with a silver tie that created a very elegant look. He wore a few white roses in his lapel with green buds about to burst. Although the groom stood almost a foot above the bride, the two seemed to fit perfectly together. The ceremony was an indoor one where guests could relax out of the sun. The aisle was lined with lit candles and flowers were tied to the end seat of each row. The flower girl wore a white dress with a green sash and did a great job of sprinkling flower petals down the aisle before the bride took her first steps towards her future husband. The alter was decorated with flowers in vases and potted plants, accented by lit candles. A cross stood in the center. The officiant was smiling at the end of the ceremony; the couple\u2019s joy was so infectious. The reception table was decorated with a picture of the couple, a framed poem by Shel Silverstein, and a frame that looked like an album cover with Courtney and Jarett\u2019s names on it. Nearby was a basket where guests could drop in wishes and advice. Courtney and Jarett were in great spirits for their grand entrance to My Name is Jonas <\/em>by Weezer, their hands laced together. As Jonas was the groom\u2019s last name, the song took on special significance and brought up the energy of the reception. The couple was wrapped into one another for their first dance. Friends and family came up to toast the couple throughout the night. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple chose a Bundt cake with flowers on top and a sign that read \u2018Mr. & Mrs.\u2019 in an arch over the cake. The frosting looked like daisy petals. There were four different Bundt cakes, each of a different flavor. Live music kept people entertained as the night seemed to flash past. What a wonderful night. Congratulations Courtney and Jarett.<\/p>\n
