As the heat of summer settles in at Villa Siena, more and more couples opt for indoor ceremonies, letting the architectural details of the Villa serve as a picturesque backdrop for their ceremony and reception. June 22nd<\/sup>, 2012 brought Amanda and Spencer to our venue for their wedding. The couple has been together for five years, but the traces of first love were still written on their faces. The Chianciano Hall was the choice for their wedding ceremony. Chairs faced the hand carved fireplace that held the words love on the mantelpiece with fresh flowers. Along the aisle were candles and fresh white flower petals for the bride\u2019s first steps towards her groom. Amanda looked amazing in a corset-style strapless gown with beaded detailing along the upper edge of the bodice and a diamond accent that swept the skirt of the dress to the side. Her veil was edged with crystals and set over a half up-do. The bride wore no necklace, just simple drop earrings. As she walked down the aisle to Marry Me <\/em>by Train, Spencer waited in a black tux, black shirt, white tie and white vest, his eyes drawn to his bride. Bridesmaids let their individual personalities shine through, each wearing a black dress in a slightly different style. Their bouquets, along with the bride\u2019s bouquet were white roses with green accent buds. The groomsmen wore spring green ties. As part of the ceremony, the couple lit the unity candle, their separate flames in life now burning as one. The officiant read Corinthians 13, offering the hope for all marriages that the love contained will be \u201cpatient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs\u2026It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.\u201d A photo booth was set up for guests to record a smile or a laugh, while the couple\u2019s playful nature was captured by their photographer, once as Amanda came up behind Spencer, covering his eyes with her hands, in a \u2018guess who\u2019 game and again as the couple, silhouetted by light and framed by the Villa\u2019s arches, leaned in for a kiss. As guests entered the reception, they were greeted by customized lighting on the wall over the couple\u2019s table that had a monogrammed C along with the couple\u2019s name and date of marriage. For the first dance, the couple chose Brad Paisley\u2019s Then.<\/em> Table numbers were placed on pictures of the couple wrapped around a vase of fresh flowers. The cake showcased a crystal C with fresh spider mums, and sparkly frosting alternating with wavy lines of frosting. As a farewell, Villa Siena\u2019s signature sparklers were lit and the couple said their final good-byes. Congratulations Amanda and Spencer. May your love only grow as the years pass.<\/p>\n
