Yahaira and Nathaniel tied the knot on April 20, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yahaira wore an elegant off-the-shoulder gown with a ruched\nbodice and a jeweled detail at the waist. Her accessories included drop\nearrings and a matching necklace, and a full-length veil with a crystal bead\ntrim. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses accented with thistles. Her three\nbridesmaids wore individual royal blue, full-length dresses. They carried\nsmaller versions of the bride\u2019s bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nathaniel looked sharp in a blue suit with a white shirt,\npaisley tie, ivory rose boutonniere, and lavender pocket square. His three\ngroomsmen wore gray suits with gray vests, white shirts, royal blue ties, ivory\nrose boutonnieres, and royal blue pocket squares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple\u2019s mothers performed a candle ritual during the\noutdoor ceremony, during which a harpist also played. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friends and family signed little wooden hearts in lieu of a\nguestbook, then enjoyed a meal of grilled chicken breast with chipotle glaze\ntopped with fruit salsa; beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce; potatoes au\ngratin; creamy risotto; and salad with poppy seed vinaigrette dressing. The\nwedding favors were little jars of honey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the speeches, the maid of honor, the bride\u2019s sister, said\nthat Nathaniel makes Yahaira the happiest she\u2019s ever been. The best man spoke\nabout how he\u2019s known Nathaniel since high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newlyweds shared a special dance, as did Yahaira and her\nfather. The anniversary dance was to \u201cWhat a Wonderful World\u201d by Louis\nArmstrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier wedding cake was done in white. The top and\nbottom tiers had a paisley design with black accents and the middle tier had a\ndot design with black accents. It was accented with white roses and thistles\nand topped with a funny ornament of a bride dragging a groom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
