Madi and Glenn wrote the next chapter in their storybook\nromance when, years after they met as teenagers in church, they were married in\na \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d-themed wedding on February 20, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madi looked gorgeous in her grandmother\u2019s long-sleeved\nballgown covered in embroidery with see-through sleeves, a V neckline, and a\nfull skirt. Her accessories included gold heels and a full-length veil. She\ncarried a red rose bouquet accented with crystal Mickey Mouse ears and crystal\nbrooches, tied with a gold ribbon. Her three bridesmaids wore matching royal\nblue full-length sleeveless dresses and carried smaller versions of the bride\u2019s\nbouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glenn wore a gray suit with a gray vest, white shirt, royal\nblue tie, royal blue pocket square, and red rose boutonniere. His three\ngroomsmen wore navy blue suits with navy vests, white shirts, yellow ties,\nyellow pocket squares, and red rose boutonnieres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The groom\u2019s father officiated the ceremony, which included the couple reading personal vows to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests wrote cards for the couple to read on their first\nanniversary in lieu of a guestbook, then dined on a buffet-style meal of Caesar\nsalad, rustic Italian bread, mostaccioli with red sauce, and chicken sauteed in\na lemon butter sauce. Dessert was served from a gelato cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the speeches, the maid of honor told the couple how\nhappy she was that they found their happily ever after. The best man, the\nmother of the bride, and the groom\u2019s parents also spoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glenn and Madi\u2019s first dance as man and wife was to \u201cThis Is It” performed by Madi’s brother. The newlyweds danced with family to \u201cYou\u2019ll Be in My Heart\u201d by Brent Morgan. The anniversary dance was to “The Wedding Song” by Noel Paul Stookey with Madi’s parents being the last ones dancing! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one-tier royal blue cake was decorated with pearls and\ntopped with a Wall-E and EVE ornament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
