A White Wedding for Laura and Jake<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Laura and Jake\nwere planning their October wedding, they wanted a day that was classy,\nunderstated, and elegant. And if you ask us, the white wedding they had here at\nthe Villa was all that and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple said their\nvows in our Plaza Toscana, where everything was covered in white. The altar was\nbrimming with white flowers. The aisle runner was white and decorated with\nwhite candles and flower petals. The bridesmaids were dressed in lovely\noff-white dresses (Jake and his groomsmen stuck with classic black tuxes). And\nof course, Laura wore head-to-toe white, from her long veil to her lacy,\nlong-sleeved dress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was\nfilled with personal moments. While a harpist set the mood, Laura\u2019s mother read\na passage from the Bible and the couple\u2019s friends shared advice drawn from\ntheir 28 years of marriage. The couple also created a unity braid, symbolizing\ntheir commitment to one another and to God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Laura and Jake\nwere officially wed, the Plaza Toscana was transformed into a beautiful outdoor\nreception space. Laura and Jake shared their first dance to Hozier\u2019s \u201cWork\nSong,\u201d and Laura and her father danced to \u201cFalling in Love with You\u201d before\neveryone settled down for dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests enjoyed a\ndinner of caesar salad, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, butternut squash\nravioli, flat iron steak, and grilled chicken \u2014 only to finish up with a tasty\nvanilla cake a little later. As the sun set on the Plaza, the newlyweds and\ntheir loved ones laughed, chatted, and danced the night away!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
