Lauren and Andrew, who met in the high school band, will be\nmaking beautiful music together forever after their April 16, 2021 wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren dazzled in an A-line gown with an embellished lace\nbodice, cap sleeves, V neckline, and lace-trimmed train. Her accessories\nincluded a pearl necklace, drop earrings, and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet\nincluded a variety of flowers and plants, including roses, lilies, and\nthistles. Her four bridesmaids wore matching full-length maroon dresses with\ncap sleeves and V necklines. They carried smaller versions of the bride\u2019s\nbouquet. The man of honor wore a blue suit with a white shirt, maroon bow tie,\nand a mini bouquet boutonniere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrew wore a blue suit with a blue vest, white shirt, blue\nand maroon striped bow tie, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His four groomsmen\nwore blue suits with white shirts, maroon bow ties, and mini bouquet\nboutonnieres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple, who were married last year amid the pandemic,\ncelebrated their love in front of their guests by reading personal vows to each\nother and lighting a unity candle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, guests sat down to a meal of mixed greens with pear tomatoes, carrots, and house vinaigrette; beef tenderloin with cognac cream sauce and horseradish aioli; potatoes au gratin; and green beans with slivered almonds. The signature cocktail was a vodka, Squirt, and cranberry juice punch named after the couple\u2019s dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the speeches, the best man reminisced about good times\nwith Andrew when they were kids. The man of honor, Lauren\u2019s brother, talked\nabout how he loved growing up with a big sister. One of the bridesmaids gave a\nspeech. Lauren\u2019s father talked about his daughter, welcomed Andrew to the\nfamily, and presented him with a funny marriage contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren and Andrew\u2019s first dance was to \u201cFrom the Ground Up\u201d\nby Dan + Shay. Lauren and her father danced to \u201cI Loved Her First\u201d by  Heartland and \u201c24K Magic\u201d by Bruno Mars.\nAndrew and his mother danced to \u201cThe Perfect Fan\u201d by Backstreet Boys. Other\nwedding fun included a bouquet and garter toss, and the shoe game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four-tier white wedding cake had a ruffle design on the\nbottom layer and a dot design on the top three layers. It was decorated with a\ncascade of lilies and roses, and topped with an ornament bearing the couple\u2019s\nlast name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrew and Lauren left their special day under the signature\nsparkler send-off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
