Shelbie and John were married on April 14, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shelbie dazzled in a sleeveless fit-and-flare gown with\nembroidery and beadwork on the bodice, a scoop back, and a long lace train. She\naccessorized with drop earrings. Her bouquet was crafted from a variety of red\nand purple flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John got married in a black suit with a black vest, black\nshirt, paisley bow tie, mini bouquet boutonniere, and paisley pocket square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple were married in an outdoor ceremony by the\ngroom\u2019s brother, who advised them to never give up on each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, guests enjoyed a meal of classic Caesar salad;\nseasonal fresh vegetables in herb butter; twice-baked potatoes; grilled chicken\nbreast marinated in olive oil and herbs with a garlic herb glaze; and grilled\nAtlantic salmon with Hollandaise and lemon beurre blanc sauce with cr\u00e8me\nfraiche and caviar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several people gave toasts, including the bride\u2019s sister,\none of the bride\u2019s friend\u2019s, and two of the groom\u2019s friends. The wedding favors\nwere rocks glasses that guests used for a toast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shelbie and John\u2019s first dance was to \u201cWhy I Love You\u201d by MAJOR. Shelbie and her father danced to \u201cMy Girl\u201d by The Temptations. John and his mother danced to \u201cA Song for Mama\u201d by Boyz II Men. Other wedding fun included a bouquet and garter toss; a photobooth; a Polaroid station during cocktail hour; and activity clipboards for kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier wedding cake was made to look like a tree\nstump, with the couple\u2019s initials inscribed in a heart on the tree. It was\ntopped with wedding ring decorations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John and Shelbie left their wedding under the signature\nsparkler send-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
