High school sweethearts Savannah and Griffin spent some of\ntheir dating years in a long-distance relationship, but now they\u2019ll never have\nto be apart: The couple were married on January 16, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Savannah looked radiant in an off-the-shoulder fit-and-flare\ngown with a sweetheart neckline, buttons down the back, and a train skirt. She\naccessorized with a hip-length veil, a pendant necklace, and drop earrings. Her\nbouquet was crafted with white and red roses, thistles, and botanical accents.\nHer four bridesmaids wore coordinating full-length burgundy dresses. They\ncarried smaller versions of the bride\u2019s bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Griffin got married in a blue suit with a white shirt,\nburgundy tie, burgundy pocket square, and mini bouquet boutonniere. His eight\ngroomsmen wore navy blue suits, white shirts, burgundy ties, burgundy pocket\nsquares, and mini bouquet boutonnieres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Griffin\u2019s father performed the ceremony. There was a reading\nabout marriage by the bride\u2019s grandmother, and a reading from the Bible. The\ncouple lit a unity candle to signify the joining of their lives. Griffin\u2019s dad\noffered him a breath mint before he kissed his new bride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests wrote down advice for the couple and put their fingerprints on a tree keepsake, then sat down to a plated meal of spring mix salad with baby spinach and poppy seed vinaigrette, herb-roasted red potatoes, assorted grilled vegetables, sauteed chicken with mushroom Marsala sauce, and flatiron steak with chimichurri sauce. The wedding favors were drink koozies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Savannah\u2019s mother and father gave toasts, as did Griffin\u2019s\nbest man, his brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bride and groom\u2019s first dance was to \u201cBetter Today\u201d by\nCoffey Anderson. Savannah and her father danced to \u201cIt Won\u2019t Be Like This for\nLong\u201d by Darius Rucker. Griffin and his mother danced to \u201cFor Once in My Life\u201d\nby Stevie Wonder. There was also an anniversary dance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier white wedding cake was done in a brushed\nfrosting design. It was adorned with pink and red roses and topped with a\nsilhouette ornament of a bride and groom under a tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Griffin and Savannah left their wedding under the signature\nsparkler send-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wish them all the best in their beautiful new life\ntogether!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
