Mia and Joel, who knew each other as children and\nreconnected as teenagers, wrote the next chapter in their love story when they\nwere married on September 27, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mia dazzled in a sleeveless fit-and-flare gown accented with\na deep V illusion neckline, a plunging back, an embroidered and beaded bodice,\nand a long lace train. Her accessories included a delicate star necklace. Her\nbouquet incorporated roses in shades of white, cream, and pink, plus other\naccent flowers and assorted greenery. Her eight bridesmaids wore matching\nmatching tea-length beige silk dresses with spaghetti straps. They carried\nsmaller versions of the bride\u2019s bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joel got married in a classic black tuxedo with a white\nshirt, black bow tie, and white pocket square. His eight groomsmen wore black\nsuits with white shirts and black ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the outdoor ceremony, the officiant told the assembled\nguests that Mia and Joel have loved each other before they even knew what love\nmeant. Everyone joined in singing \u201cAmazing Grace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, guests enjoyed a plated meal of mixed-greens salad,\npotatoes au gratin, tortellini primavera, caprese chicken with mozzarella,\ngrilled artichoke hearts, roasted tomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joel\u2019s brother, Mia\u2019s sisters, and both of the fathers gave\ntoasts, talking about the couple\u2019s love for God and how they found their way\nback to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mia and Joel\u2019s first dance was to \u201cPerfect\u201d by Ed Sheeran. Mia and her father danced to \u201cMy Little Girl\u201d by Tim McGraw. Joel and his mother shared a special dance as well. Other wedding fun included a dance line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier naked-style white wedding cake was decorated\nwith roses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
