Doreen & Gordon: A Love That Just Can\u2019t Wait<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These days, it can\nfeel like the world has been totally upended, particularly when it comes to the\nsocial events we love. Many of us have had to cancel plans like birthday\nparties and weddings in the wake of COVID-19, postponing our events until the\nworld feels safer. But for Doreen and Gordon, waiting simply wasn\u2019t an option \u2014\nand so they had a beautiful, socially-distant wedding on June 6th! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doreen & Gordon\ncelebrated their love story with 22 of their nearest and dearest here at the\nVilla. The wedding had a classic, upscale vibe with the black, blush, and ivory\ncolor palette. Gordon and his best man wore smart black suits. Doreen\u2019s maid of\nhonor donned a lovely black off-the-shoulder gown. And of course, Doreen\nherself was a vision in her champagne-colored ball gown with lace details along\nthe bodice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was a\nromantic affair, filled with love and lots of music. The couple\u2019s pastor\nperformed a song on the trumpet during the ceremony, and Doreen\u2019s brother\ntreated guests to a performance on the guitar. But in addition to all the\nmusic, there were the classic wedding moments: the vows, the ring exchange, and\nthe pair\u2019s first kiss as a married couple (yay!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the ceremony,\nguests moved into the reception hall and sat down to dinner (at tables six feet\napart, of course). Everyone enjoyed a meal of mixed green salad, creamy mashed\npotatoes, fresh green beans, and caprese chicken. The maid of honor and best\nman toasted the happy couple while guests chatted and laughed with one another\nall evening long. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the\nwedding, Doreen and Gordon continued to smile at each other with incredible\nlove and joy on their faces. It was the most beautiful part of a beautiful\nwedding \u2014 and proof that, even if a pandemic keeps us isolated from our friends\nand loved ones, the feelings we have will never fade!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
