A Classic Wedding Ceremony For Mercy and Isaac<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 12, 2020, the Villa Siena was lucky enough to take part in a very special event: the wedding of Mercy and Isaac. This wedding was classic, traditional, and totally sweet, and we were so happy to help this beautiful couple have the special day of their dreams!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wedding was\ndecorated with a variety of white florals, including roses, dahlias, lilies,\nand baby\u2019s breath. We decorated our outdoor courtyard (the Piazza Toscana) with\nthese lovely floral arrangements, as well as a white aisle runner for our\nwedding party to walk down. But this wedding wasn\u2019t an all-white affair; the\nbridesmaids wore powder blue gowns for a pop of color, and Isaac and his\ngroomsmen wore classic black tuxes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the ceremony\nbegan, Mercy made her grand entrance in her gorgeous wedding gown. In her ball\ngown \u2014 complete with an illusion neckline and lace- and sequin-covered sleeves\n\u2014 she looked like a real fairy-tale princess! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was\nconducted in Spanish (with an English translator for some guests). The\nofficiant talked about God\u2019s intention for marriage and encouraged the couple\nto share brief vows they\u2019d written themselves. Then, the couple exchanged rings\nand sealed their union with a kiss (yay!). As the ceremony ended, Mercy removed\nher veil and pinned it onto Isaac\u2019s shoulder, as a sign that she would rest on\nhis strength in their life together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the ceremony ended, it was time to head inside for an evening of dinner and dancing. The reception started with Mercy and Isaac\u2019s first dance (to James Ingram\u2019s rendition of \u201cSo This is Love\u201d) and their respective dances with their parents. Then, while the couple\u2019s loved ones gave heartfelt speeches, guests enjoyed a meal of caesar salad, Napa valley salad, Tuscan chicken, creamy pesto pasta, creamy mushroom asparagus, and gorgonzola chicken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the\nevening, Mercy, Isaac, and their guests chatted, laughed, and let loose on the\ndance floor. There was even a live performance, as two guests regaled everyone\nwith their singing and guitar playing! It was clear that this group loved the\ncouple dearly, and that Mercy and Isaac would have lots of support in their\nmarriage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
