Elijah and Donree hit the bullseye of love when\nthey met at Target, and on December 28, 2019, they became man and wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donree exuded beauty and joy in a ballgown with\nlong lace illusion sleeves, lace illusion neckline, and full tiered skirt. She\naccessorized with a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of an assortment\nof white flowers. Her maid of honor wore a full-length champagne-colored dress\nwith spaghetti straps, a V neckline, and a ruched bodice. Her three bridesmaids\nwore the same dress as the maid of honor, but in navy blue. They carried\nmodified versions of the bride\u2019s bouquet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elijah wore a blue suit with a blue vest, white\nshirt, champagne-colored tie and pocket square, and a white rose boutonniere.\nHis four groomsmen wore blue suits with champagne-colored vests, ties, and\npocket squares, and white rose boutonnieres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the outdoor ceremony, the couple\nperformed a cord ceremony to symbolize the uniting of their lives. Several\nchairs were deliberately left empty to recognize departed family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside at the reception, guests dined on\nclassic Caesar salad, potatoes au gratin, fresh steamed vegetables, grilled\nchicken breast, and flatiron steak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the speeches, the bride\u2019s sister spoke\nabout how Donree has always been her rock, and how excited she is to add Elijah\nto the family. The groom\u2019s cousin called the newlyweds \u201ccouple goals\u201d and said\nit has been amazing to watch their love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donree and Elijah\u2019s first dance was to \u201cHeaven\u201d\nby Kane Brown. Elijah and his daughter danced to \u201cIt Won\u2019t Be Like This for\nLong\u201d by Darius Rucker. Other reception fun included an anniversary dance and\nthe shoe game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier wedding cake had white frosting\nwith brushed gold on the top and bottom layers, and a unique \u201cbroken cake\u201d\nmiddle layer with a blue frosting inset. The cake was topped with an ornament\nbearing the couple\u2019s last name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elijah and Donree left their special day under\nthe signature sparkler send-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
