From the moment we met Brooke and Eric, we\ncould tell they were a couple who loved to have fun. After all, they met while\non a cruise ship! So when they got married this past November, we expected the\nceremony to be full of good times and lots of laughter \u2014 and we were not\ndisappointed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The wedding had an elegant color palette of\nred, white, and pink, with gold accents for a little extra glitz. The wedding\nparty complemented this romantic color scheme by wearing classic black: Eric\nand his groomsmen wore black tuxes with red pocket squares (except for the\ngroom, who\u2019s square was white) and the bridesmaids wore long black gowns in a\nvariety of styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, no one looked quite so lovely as\nthe bride herself. Brooke\u2019s strapless, mermaid-style wedding dress was covered\nin intricate lace and beaded appliques that sparkled as she walked. She wore a\nlong veil that added extra drama to the finished look \u2014 but the most lovely\nthing to see was the big smile on her face!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start the ceremony, Brooke was escorted\ninto the Piazza Toscana and down the aisle by her father and grandfather. A\nfriend of the couple officiated the ceremony, where Brooke and Eric swore to\nlove and honor each other forever. The couple said \u201cI do,\u201d exchanged rings, and\nsealed their union with a kiss, officially becoming Mr. and Mrs. Chez (yay!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reception began with a\nbeautifully-choreographed first dance, set to \u201cBlessed\u201d by Thomas Rhett. Eric\nand his mother danced to Rascal Flatts\u2019 \u201cMy Wish,\u201d and Brooke and her\ngrandfather danced to Stevie Wonder\u2019s \u201cIsn\u2019t She Lovely.\u201d Then, after a\nblessing from Eric\u2019s sister, it was time to eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests enjoyed their dinner: a spring salad\nwith baby spinach, strawberries, apples, grapes, feta cheese, and pecans with\npoppy seed vinaigrette; parmesan risotto; green beans with toasted almonds;\ncaprese chicken with buffalo mozzarella, artichoke hearts, red and yellow\ntomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze; and braised beef short rib with chopped\nvegetables. But nothing was quite so delicious as the pizzelle cookies (made by\nBrooke and her mom!) that guests received as their wedding favors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brooke and Eric\u2019s wedding was romantic, fun,\nand incredibly sweet \u2014 and we think their life is only going to get sweeter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
