Drew and Lauren\u2019s friends knew they\u2019d be a match before they\neven met. When the pair met during an evening out at SandBar, their love story\nbegan, and they were married on December 6, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren was stunning in a sleeveless fit-and-flare sheath\ngown with a plunging illusion neckline, a lace overlay, and a train. Her\naccessories included a full-length veil and drop earrings. Her bouquet featured\nroses in shades of pink and red, plus other flowers and botanical accents. Her\nthree bridesmaids wore sleeveless full-length burgundy dresses with V\nnecklines. They carried modified versions of the bride\u2019s bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drew got married in a classic black tuxedo with a white\nshirt, black bow tie, and red rose boutonniere. His two groomsmen wore black\ntuxedos with white shirts, black ties, red pocket squares, and red rose\nboutonnieres. His groomswoman wore a sleeveless full-length black dress with a\nV neckline and a red rose corsage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, the officiant told the couple that\nmarriage is perhaps the greatest and most challenging adventure in a\nrelationship. There was a moment of silence for loved ones who couldn\u2019t be\nthere. One of the bridesmaids did a reading. Lauren and Drew read personal vows\nto each other; Lauren promised to support, push, and love Drew, and said that\nshe can\u2019t wait to spend forever with him. Drew said how amazing Lauren is, and\nhow she gives him strength and guidance. After they exchanged rings, they\nperformed a wine and letter ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, the party moved inside, where guests were greeted by a\ntable decorated with photos of the bride and groom, a card box, and a wooden\nplaque with the couple\u2019s name that functioned as a guest book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside at the reception, attendees enjoyed hors d\u2019oeuvres\nlike beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon, chilled mojito lime scallops, and tomato\nbasil bruschetta before moving on to a dinner consisting of classic Caesar\nsalad, mixed vegetables, creamy Parmesan risotto, flatiron steak with chimichurri\nsauce, and grilled Atlantic salmon with hollandaise sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the speeches, the bride\u2019s brother, who was also the\nbest man, reminisced about their childhood and about meeting Drew, and welcomed\nDrew to the family. The matron of honor shared memories of her friendship with\nthe bride, and said that even though Lauren is younger, she has always looked\nup to her. The other groomsman talked about his friendship with Drew, and\ncalled Lauren the nicest person he\u2019s ever met. Lauren\u2019s father gave the newlyweds\nadvice: love much, laugh much, accuse slowly, share everything, forgive always,\nand put your marriage first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drew and Lauren shared their first dance as man and wife to\n\u201cRiver\u201d by Leon Bridges. Lauren and her father danced to \u201cMy Little Girl\u201d by\nTim McGraw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier wedding cake had a different white-on-white\ndesign on each layer. It was topped with a silver \u201cLauren and Drew\u201d ornament\nthat also bore the wedding date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
