Rachel and Nick, who have\nknown each other since middle school and maintained a long-distance\nrelationship in college, will never be apart again; they were married on\nOctober 12, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel dazzled in a\nclassic ballgown with full-length lace illusion sleeves, an illusion neckline,\nand a full tulle skirt. She accessorized with small drop earrings, a crystal\nhair band, and a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was stuffed with a variety of\nfall-colored flowers. Her nine bridesmaids wore individual dresses in shades of\nblush, coral, red, and burgundy, and carried modified versions of the bride\u2019s\nbouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nick looked sharp in a\nclassic black tuxedo with a white shirt, black bow tie, and white pocket\nsquare. His eight groomsmen wore black suits with white shirts and black ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the ceremony, the\nofficiant, a friend of the groom\u2019s said that marriage makes the world smaller\nand more manageable, and talked about the couple\u2019s life goals. Rachel and Nick\nread personal vows to each other; Rachel promised to cherish and choose Nick\nfor the rest of their lives, while Nick spoke about the things he loves about\nRachel and the things he\u2019s looking forward to, like raising a family and\ngrowing old together. The couple performed a glass-breaking ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside at the reception,\nan \u201cIn Loving Memory\u201d table honored Rachel\u2019s late mother with photographs of\nher. Guests enjoyed a meal of spinach salad, grilled boneless chicken breast\nfilled with cheese, herb-crusted pork loin with wild rice, and angel hair\ngarlic pasta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the speeches, the\nbride\u2019s father said that Rachel and Nick are a perfect match. The bride\u2019s\nsisters spoke about Rachel\u2019s talent and organization skills, and said that\ntheir mother would be so proud of all of them. The officiant spoke about his\nfriendship with the groom. Nick and Rachel thanked all their guests for\ncoming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nick and Rachel\u2019s first\ndance as man and wife was to \u201cBook of Love\u201d by Magnetic Fields. Rachel and her\nfather danced to \u201cLandslide\u201d by Fleetwood Mac. Nick and his mother danced to\n\u201cForever Young\u201d by Bob Dylan. Other wedding fun included an anniversary dance\nto \u201cAll the Things You Are\u201d by Ella Fitzgerald, and a bouquet and a garter\ntoss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four-tier white\nwedding cake was decorated with an assortment of fresh fruit along each layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
