A Multicultural Marriage Ceremony for Neetu and\nJonathan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of our favorite things about hosting\nweddings at the Villa is watching the unique way each couple incorporates their\npersonalities, their families, and their cultures into their big day. And\nnowhere was this beautiful blend of culture, family, and true love visible than\nwith Neetu and Jonathan, whose wedding combined elements of LDS faith and\nIndian culture into one stunning ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For their big day, these high school sweethearts\ndecorated the La Stanza Chianciano with beautiful arrangements of roses and\nbegonias in white, red, and pink. As the ceremony started, Jonathan stood at\nthe altar in a sharp blue suit and burgundy tie, anxiously awaiting his\nbeautiful bride. Soon, she was on her way down the aisle with one parent on\neach arm \u2014 and she looked absolutely lovely in her white, two-piece sari with a\nlacy, a-line skirt, a gold-trimmed sash, and stunning diamond jewelry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was short and sweet, with elements\nof both the bride and groom\u2019s family cultures. The officiant read a bible verse\nand led the guests in a brief prayer, and Neetu and Jonathan adorned each other\nwith flower garlands (or malas) to symbolize their union. And of course, the\nceremony was full of heartfelt moments between the couple; during her vows,\nNeetu called Jonathan her \u201crock,\u201d and Jonathan reminisced fondly on when they\nfirst met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon, the couple sealed their union with a kiss (yay!) and it was time to start partying! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple shared their first dance to \u201c18\u201d by One Direction before sitting down to a delicious Indian dinner, courtesy of local restaurant Curry Garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests danced, enjoyed cake and hot chocolate, and played a few fun rounds of the shoe game to round out the evening!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
