Katie and Steve, who met in the ASU marching band and\nreunited when they began teaching at the same school, were married on April 20,\n2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katie glowed in a sleeveless A-line gown with spaghetti straps, sweetheart neckline, beaded overlay, and button-down back. Her accessories include a pendant necklace and purple flowers in her hair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her bouquet was arranged with purple and white flowers. Her four bridesmaids wore matching full-length one-shoulder dresses. They carried smaller versions of the bride\u2019s bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve wore a black tuxedo with a gray vest, white shirt, gray tie, white pocket square, and white flower boutonniere. His four groomsmen wore black tuxedos with purple vests, white shirts, purple ties, and white flower boutonnieres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the outdoor ceremony, family members read quotes about love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, guests enjoy a meal of salad with poppy seed\nvinaigrette dressing, mixed vegetables, butternut squash ravioli, vegetable\nWellington, and sliced beef tenderloin. Since Katie teaches math and Steve\nteaches music, the table numbers were music and math symbols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the speeches, the matron of honor, the bride\u2019s twin\nsister, talked about how it\u2019s a privilege to be a part of the newlyweds\u2019 lives,\nand led the guests in a game. The best man joked about the groom, and said the\ncouple have found a beautiful thing, and have come together as something\nspecial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve and Katie\u2019s first dance was a choreographed number to\n\u201cOne Hand, One Heart.\u201d Katie and her father danced to \u201cMy Girl\u201d by The\nTemptations. Katie and her mother danced to \u201cSomewhere Over the Rainbow\u201d by\nJudy Garland. Steve and his mother danced to \u201cJust the Way You Are\u201d by Billy\nJoel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wedding cake was music- and dog-themed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
