Caitlan and Elijah, who met at work, were married on May 5, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caitlan looked radiant in a sleeveless gown with a V neckline,\ncustom beading on the bodice, jeweled belt, and full, lace-edged skirt with a\ntrain. Her accessories included a hip-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of\na lovely assortment of flowers in shades of deepest red, pink, and ivory,\naccented with greenery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elijah got married in a gray tuxedo with a gray vest, white shirt,\nblack bow tie, and red rose boutonniere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the indoor ceremony, Caitlan told her groom that they will\nbe able to get through anything together because their love is true. They\nexchanged rings as a symbol of their love that they carry with them anywhere.\nThe families exchanged roses to symbolize their new relationship to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reception table was decorated with a caricature portrait of\nthe couple, along with photos and a memento for guests to sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, guests enjoyed a meal of spring mix with spinach,\nstrawberries, apples, grapes, feta cheese, and pecans; potatoes au gratin;\nmixed vegetables; grilled Atlantic salmon; and filet mignon with Burgundy\nbordelaise and mushroom duxelle sauce. The wedding favors were customized\ncookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the speeches, the maid of honor\u2019s the bride\u2019s sister, shared\nhow the wedding planning brought her and Caitlan closer together. She also told\nthe bride how beautiful she looked and encouraged the couple to always remember\nthe love they have for each other right at that moment. The best man talked\nabout how well the couple complement each other, and joked about Elijah\u2019s love\nof tacos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elijah and Caitlan shared their first dance as man and wife to\n\u201cCan\u2019t Help Falling in Love.\u201d Caitlan and her father danced to \u201cStand by Me\u201d by\nBen E. King. Elijah and his mother danced to \u201cA Song for Mama.\u201d There was also\na choreographed dance and a photobooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier white wedding cake had designs on the top and\nbottom layers and the couple\u2019s initial on the middle tier. It was decorated\nwith blush and burgundy roses, and topped with a bride and groom holding hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
