Eric and Mary, who met through mutual friends, became husband and wife on December 2, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary chose a romantic sleeveless ballgown with a deep V-neckline, illusion straps, a lace bodice, and a full skirt. Her accessories included drop earrings, a jeweled headband, a full-length veil. Her bouquet was composed of a variety of white flowers accented with succulents, pine cones, and pine fronds. Her five bridesmaids wore coordinating full-length flowing sage-green dresses. They carried bouquets of small white flowers tied with white ribbons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eric got married in traditional Irish dress. He\nwore a dark gray jacket and vest with a light gray shirt, blue-green tie, and\nwhite flower boutonniere, along with a gray plaid kilt with black sporran,\ngray  fly plaid with a circle brooch, and\nblack socks with gray flashes. His five groomsmen dressed to match him, minus\nthe fly plaid and brooch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, the officiant, who was one\nof the bride\u2019s friends, told the story of how the couple met and fell in love.\nMary and Eric recited personal vows to each other. Then, they performed a unity\ncandle ceremony along with Mary\u2019s two sons to symbolize their new status as a\nfamily. A traditional pipe band provided music during the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, at the reception, guests dined on Caesar\nsalad, beef tenderloin, potatoes au gratin, and rice at tables that were decorated\nwith homemade winter-themed centerpieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toasts were given by the best man, who spoke\nabout how happy he was for the groom that he found the one, and the matron of\nhonor, who talked about how much she loves the couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary and Eric\u2019s first dance was to \u201cOnly You\u201d\nby Sinead O\u2019Connor. Mary and her father danced to \u201cToo-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral\u201d by\nEmmet Cahill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other wedding fun included an Irish band\nperforming during the reception, as well a bouquet and garter tosses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-tier square wedding cake was trimmed\nwith pearl effects and gray ribbons at the base of each tier and decorated with\nwhite roses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eric and Mary left their wedding day under the\nsignature sparkler exit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wish them love, joy, and the luck of the Irish in their new marriage!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
