These days, it\u2019s so common for couples to really\ngo all out on their wedding day. While we love, love, love <\/em>seeing people\nget super extra (seriously, it\u2019s so<\/em> much fun), there\u2019s something really\nrefreshing about couples who keep their nuptials beautifully simple. And when\nTiana and Cody came to the Villa for their wedding in November, they chose to\nzero in on what matters most \u2014 their love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple\u2019s simple ceremony was all about pink\nand white roses. Tiana carried them in her bouquet, as did her maid of honor,\nand our courtyard where the ceremony took place was covered with rose petals\n(even the fountain was dressed up for the occasion).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bride wore an elegant, yet understated lace\ngown with a sweetheart neckline and lace-up back. She looked absolutely\nstunning \u2014 but we have to admit, our favorite part of her look was her shoes;\nCody had written a secret message on the soles, which read \u201cThe best day is\nhere. I love you with all my heart.\u201d (Too cute, right?) Cody also wore\nsomething simple, yet sophisticated, sporting a navy suit with a white tie and\nwhite rose boutonniere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this wedding wasn\u2019t just about looking\nbeautiful (though these two certainly mastered that). The couple put special\nfocus on the adventure they were embarking on, discussing in the ceremony how\nlove means making sacrifices and going the extra mile. Also, in addition to the\ntraditional vows and exchanging of rings, Tiana and Cody also added a special\n\u201clove letter ceremony\u201d to their wedding day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, the couple put love letters they\u2019d written to one another into a box and locked it up. These letters will wait inside the box until the day Tiana and Cody really need them, perhaps during a difficult time in their life together. This beautiful gesture proved to us that these to lovebirds are in it for the long haul, and we suspect it will be some time before that box needs to be unlocked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
