\"\"<\/a>Brooke and Alex, who met at a party in college, were married on May 19, 2017.<\/p>\n

Brooke chose a dramatic fit-and-flare strapless\u00a0mermaid gown by Mia Solano that featured a sweetheart neckline, jeweled detailing on the waistline and hipline, and a layered organza skirt. She accessorized with a cathedral-length veil and a double-strand pearl necklace. Her all-white bouquet of roses and lilies was tied with a white ribbon. Her five bridemaids wore full-length pale blue dresses in different silhouettes and carried bouquets of white roses tied with a white ribbon.<\/p>\n

Alex looked sharp in a black suit with white vest, white tie, and a white lily boutonniere. His six groomsmen wore black suits with black vests and ties, and white rose boutonnieres.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Brooke walked down an aisle lined with white petals to meet Alex at the altar for a traditional ceremony.<\/p>\n

At the reception, guests ate caprese salad along with grilled chicken with herb and garlic glaze, grilled Atlantic salmon with lemon beurre blanc sauce, herb-roasted potatoes, and ravioli.<\/p>\n

Many people spoke during the toasts: Alex’s sister remarked on how much the newlyweds have grown and matured together; the maid of honor said how amazing it was to watch them get married, Brooke’s father spoke about how lucky he was to have her as a daughter; Alex’s father said how wonderful it was to have all the guests here; the best man said how genuine is Alex is; Alex’s aunt encouraged the couple to celebrate life; Alex said that everyone at the wedding is family to him; and Brooke thanked everyone for coming.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

The newlyweds shared their first dance as a married couple to “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Ray. Brooke and her father danced to “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac, and Alex and his mother danced to “Have I Told You Lately?” by Rod Stewart.<\/p>\n

The three-tier white wedding cake featured a swirl design and blue ribbon details. The custom silhouette cake topper included the couple and their name, the wedding date, and the couple’s dog who had recently passed away. The groom’s cake was decorated with an Arnold Schwarzenegger meme.<\/p>\n

Alex and Brooke honeymooned in Jamaica. We wish them a long and happy marriage!<\/p>\n
