\"\"<\/a>Marissa and Ben were married on May 14, 2017.<\/p>\n

Marissa selected an elegant fit-and-flare strapless lace gown with a sweetheart neckline. She accessorized with a lace-edged veil that echoed the lace pattern of the dress. She carried a bouquet that mixed roses and peonies in shades of pink and white with pale green succulents, all tied with a white ribbon. Her three bridesmaids wore full-length, sleeveless, forest green dresses with V-neck lace bodices, and carried smaller versions of the bride\u2019s bouquet.<\/p>\n

Ben wore a gray three-piece suit with a gold tie, gold pocket square, and white rose boutonniere. His three groomsmen wore gray three-piece suits with forest green ties and pocket squares and white rose boutonnieres.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

After a ceremony that included a congratulations video from members of the Denver Broncos football team, the party headed inside for a meal of Caesar salad, chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and provolone cheese and finished with a lemon beurre blanc sauce, braised beef short ribs, green beans, and herb-roasted potatoes. Guests signed a wooden board to commemorate the special day, and the wedding favors were tiny succulents tucked into blocks of wood.<\/p>\n

During the toasts, Marissa\u2019s maid of honor said that she could not imagine someone better for Marissa than Ben and complimented Marissa\u2019s passion for life. Ben\u2019s best man called him \u201cthe big brother I never had.\u201d Marissa\u2019s father told the newlyweds that he looked forward to having them in his life together. Ben\u2019s father told his son that he couldn\u2019t remember a time when Ben seemed at peace as much as when he is with Marissa.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Marissa and Ben danced their first dance together as a married couple to \u201cGood for Me\u201d by Above & Beyond. Marissa and her father danced to \u201cMy Little Girl\u201d by Tim McGraw, and Ben and his mother danced to \u201cMy Wish\u201d by Rascal Flatts.<\/p>\n

The three-tier white wedding cake was decorated with leaves, succulents, and peonies, and was topped with a custom topper of the the couple\u2019s last name.<\/p>\n
