\"\"<\/a>Amy and Garrett met at a friend\u2019s Cinco de Mayo party, and were married on Sunday, October 9, 2016.<\/p>\n

Amy modeled a backless and sleeveless lace-textured wedding gown with a deep V-neck and a mermaid hem. She held a posy-tied bouquet of blush pink and white roses, along with white hydrangeas \u2013\u00a0as did her six bridesmaids. Her bridesmaids donned soft pink sheath gowns with sweetheart necklines.<\/p>\n

Garrett sported a deep navy, three-piece suit with a soft pink necktie over a white dress shirt. A blush pink pocket square, brown leather shoes, and plush white rose on his lapel completed the outfit. His five groomsmen matched his attire.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

The outdoor wedding ceremony was held at the end of a white carpet dressed in white and pink flower petals. It was said, \u201cGod designed marriage to benefit us, to unify two people. Marriage is the blending of hearts.\u201d A prayer was said, and the symbolism of rings was also expressed to the audience.<\/p>\n

Dinner started with Caesar salads with housemade dressing, followed by grilled chicken breasts filled with prosciutto and braised beef short ribs. Sides included potatoes au gratin and grilled vegetables. For dessert, guests were treated to pink cake pops, and a slice of cake. The white, three-tiered wedding cake came with a floral arrangement cascading down the front that included blush roses, succulents, and more greenery.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

During the reception, guests signed in on personalized Jenga blocks. Attendees were also given little brown paper bags of midnight snacks as favors.<\/p>\n

Toasts started with the Best Man, who has known Garrett since middle school when they met on the golf course and toasted to the couple\u2019s happiness. The Maid of Honor, who has known Amy since freshman year of college and shares many memories with her, said, \u201cAmy is the definition of a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amy and Garrett\u2019s First Dance was to \u201cShe\u2019s Everything\u201d by Brad Paisley. They left their wedding night under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness.<\/p>\n
