\"MeaganGibsonPhotography-8\"<\/a>Allison and Raul met in middle school at an eighth grade graduation party, went on their first date as freshmen in high school, and were finally married on Thursday, March 10, 2016.<\/p>\n

Allison modeled an Allure wedding dress from Lillian Lottie, complete with a ballgown skirt, semi-sweetheart neckline, and lengthy veil. The bride stood atop hot pink BCBGeneration shoes, and held a bouquet of white hydrangeas and light pink roses. Her three bridesmaids wore light pink, tea-length Allure dresses with allusion necklines, sporting corsages of white hydrangeas and soft pink roses.<\/p>\n

Raul wore a gray, three-piece suit with a white dress shirt, pink bowtie, and white rose ornamenting his lapel. His four groomsmen also donned gray, three-piece suits complete with white shirts and pink neckties. However, the groom and groomsmen each wore superhero themed t-shirts underneath their dress shirts, ranging from Batman to Superman and Captain America.<\/p>\n\"MeaganGibsonPhotography-18\"<\/a>\n

At the end of a plush red carpet, the ceremony was held in both English and Spanish, and featured a harpist. There was also a special remembrance of Allison\u2019s mother who has passed away.<\/p>\n

Dinner started with a mixed greens salad, followed by Mexican rolled beef, mojo marinated chicory, rosemary potatoes, fideo pasta, and strawberry rum cake. The three-tiered wedding cake was white with flowery, fanned details. A glass block cake topper came monogrammed with \u201cAMR.\u201d<\/p>\n\"MeaganGibsonPhotography-21\"<\/a>\n

During toasts, the Best Man, who is Raul\u2019s brother, talked about when Raul met Allison and how nervous he was. The Maid of Honor talked about stealing the bride\u2019s makeup and clothes, and how she loves her unconditionally. The Sister of the Bride Lauren talked about all the things that inspired her, and the Father of the Bride talked about Allison\u2019s childhood imaginary friends, and how she resembles her mother.<\/p>\n

Allison and Raul\u2019s First Dance was to \u201cShotgun Rider\u201d by Tim McGraw, the Father\/Daughter Dance was to \u201cI Hope You Dance\u201d by Lee Ann Womack, the Mother\/Son Dance was to \u201cTe Amo Mama,\u201d and the bridal party danced to Elvis Crespo\u2019s classic \u201cSuavemente.\u201d The reception also featured a memory table for Allison\u2019s mother.<\/p>\n

These high school sweethearts left under the signature sparkler farewell, and we wish them all the best.<\/p>\n
