\"Royal-Purple-Wedding-Villa-Siena<\/a>Airiqa and Miguel met in their high school library, and 10 years later, they were married on Sunday, January 17, 2016.<\/p>\n

Airiqa donned a unique Allure Romance wedding gown with a 1920s-style mermaid hem, illusion neckline, and sheer long sleeves. She stood atop t-strap Betsy Johnson heels, and held a nosegay-style bouquet consisting of white roses and purple hydrangeas. Her seven bridesmaids modeled deep purple sheath gowns \u2013 with only the Maid of Honor donning a unique, semi-sweetheart neckline.<\/p>\n

Miguel sported a black, three-piece suit with a black bowtie and pocket square, and black buttons against his white shirt. His six groomsmen wore charcoal gray suits, each lapel embellished with a white rose.<\/p>\n\"Royal-Purple-Wedding-Villa-Siena<\/a>\n

Airiqa and Miguel enjoyed a beautiful letterbox ceremony in front of the fireplace on a sunny January day.<\/p>\n

A mariachi band played during cocktail hour. Later, dinner was served consisting of braised beef short ribs with chopped vegetables, broth, herbs, and wine sauce. Grilled chicken with a light garlic herb glaze was also presented, along with sweet ginger glazed carrots, and confetti grilled ravioli topped with herb butter and pecorino cheese.<\/p>\n

The wedding cake was a round, single-tier white cake with a purple ribbon fastened with a sparkling snowflake \u2013 crowned with a bedazzled \u201cMr & Mrs\u201d cake topper. The cake sat atop five tiers of beautifully assorted cupcakes in pink champagne and vanilla flavors, topped with beige, tope, and purple frosting. A taco stand was also available after dinner.<\/p>\n\"Royal-Purple-Wedding-Villa-Siena<\/a>\n

Miguel\u2019s brother later made a toast, and recounted that he was a typical annoying little brother, and how Miguel would point at Airiqa after making a shot in basketball. Airiqa\u2019s sister expressed how the bride was her best friend, and meant everything to her. The Father of the Bride lamented on when his daughter was born, and how 25 years later, he\u2019s giving her away \u2013 but he\u2019s proud to welcome Miguel into the family.<\/p>\n

Airiqa and Miguel\u2019s first dance was to an acoustic version of \u201cLatch\u201d by Sam Smith. The Father\/Daughter Dance was to \u201cBeauty & the Beast\u201d by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, and the Mother\/Son Dance was to \u201cTe Amo Mama\u201d by Marco Antonio Solis & Los Bukis.<\/p>\n

Guests left with magnets reading, \u201cThere is only on way to happiness, to love and to be loved.\u201d We\u2019re sure Airiqa and Miguel will have just that in their new life together.<\/p>\n
