\"Villa-Siena-Indoor-Ceremony<\/a>Tasha and Jason\u2019s wedding January 8, 2016 was filled with Assyrian traditions. The groom surprised the bride by saying his vows in Aramaic, the bride\u2019s native language. The couple also invited the bride\u2019s mother and groom\u2019s mother to light a unity candle with them, symbolizing the merging of the two families.<\/p>\n

For her wedding day Tasha chose a white ball gown with spaghetti straps and lace appliqu\u00e9s. She wore a crystal tiara with a veil dotted with crystals. The bridal bouquet brought together various shades of purple and white roses. Her bridesmaids dresses were eggplant purple floor-length gowns while the flower girls had on white dresses with purple sashes and garlands of baby\u2019s breath in their hair.\u00a0 Jason was dressed in a black tuxedo with a black vest, white shirt and black tie while his groomsmen were in black tuxedos with bowties instead of ties.<\/p>\n\"Villa-Siena-Indoor-Ceremony<\/a>\n

After the ceremony the bride and groom made their grand entrance into the ballroom with a traditional bass drum for a cultural first dance and cake cutting. The wedding cake featured white piping and gumpaste flowers. To cut the cake the couple had personalized cake servers.<\/p>\n

During the best man\u2019s speech he spoke of how he has always looked up to his brother and how Jason makes him a better man. The maid of honor welcomed the groom, and her boss, into their Middle Eastern family. Purple up-lighting helped personalize the feel of the reception.<\/p>\n\"Villa-Siena-Indoor-Ceremony<\/a>\n

Guests were treated to homemade chocolates crafted by the groom who is a chocolatier.\u00a0 Congratulations Tasha and Jason. May you always find comfort in one another\u2019s arms. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
