\"Black-Purple-Wedding-Bride-Groom\"<\/a>Dusty chose an unconventional look for her wedding day September 4, 2015. The bride dressed in a black gown with rouching across the bodice and pickups in the skirt of the dress. She wore her hair up with peacock feathers as an adornment and gold glitter decorating the side of her face. Under the gown was a pair of black stilettos with gold crystal detailing that was reminiscent of a peacock spreading its feathers. In lieu of flowers, the bride made her own bouquet of diamond and pearl brooches that was embellished with gold ribbon. Christopher also dressed to impress with a black tuxedo with tails, a grey vest and grey and white striped ascot. Like bright peacock feathers, the bridesmaids were popped in violet satin gowns with empire waists and a single shoulder straps. The four flower girls had purple satin gowns similar to the bride\u2019s with full skirts and pick-ups.<\/p>\n\"Black-Purple-Wedding-Outdoor-Ceremony\"<\/a>\n

The bride\u2019s father, also dressed in a tuxedo with tails, walked his daughter down the aisle to her groom. As the ceremony began, the bride\u2019s brother sang I Cross My Heart<\/em> by George Strait. The officiant advised the couple to go on adventures together and find new ways to love each other. After the ceremony came an opportunity for speeches. The father of the groom noted the couple loved being with each other and gave each other 100%. The bride\u2019s sister commented on Dusty\u2019s independent streak and was glad she found someone who loved her the way her family does.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s chose Dean Martin\u2019s Ain\u2019t That a Kick in the Head <\/em>for their rehearsed first dance as husband and wife. This was followed by the father & daughter dance to My Little Girl <\/em>by Tim McGraw and Here For You<\/em> by Firehouse. The mother & son dance was to Mom<\/em> by Garth Brooks.<\/p>\n\"Black-Purple-Wedding-Cake\"<\/a>\n

A sheet cake and gelato were served to guests as the display cake was a \u2018fake\u2019 cake that the bride spent several months designing, as she works for Piece of Cake Desserts! The bride\u2019s cake was four tiers with the bottom tier square, the next tier round and the two top tiers tall and round. The \u2018cake\u2019 was purple with black and gold lace detail, bows and diamonds sprinkled throughout.<\/p>\n

The end of the night was lit up with a signature sparkler farewell. Congratulations Dusty and Christopher. May your independence only serve to make your love grow stronger. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
