Even though Jessica and Jacob met in high school the couple they didn\u2019t date until years later when they reconnected through Facebook. Flowers for the day were bright arrangements of plum roses, dahlias calla lily\u2019s delphiniums, baby\u2019s breath peonies and greenery.<\/p>\n

The bride\u2019s lace dress came from J-Johnson Bridal and had a sweetheart neckline and A-line skirt. She wore a veil and diamond headband. Underneath the dress were lace shoes with crystal accents. The bridesmaids wore deep purple lace Mori Lee gowns designed by Madeline Gardner. Jacob wore a grey tuxedo with grey vest, black shirt and a black bowtie. The groomsmen wore light grey tuxedos with wine colored vests and bowties.<\/p>\n\"Purple-Navy-Blue-Wedding<\/a>\n

During the ceremony, Jessica was very nervous. The couple exchanged traditional vows. Then as the unity candle ceremony began, for some reason only the middle candle stayed lit. The kindness and warmth of the bride was evident as the groom\u2019s cousin relayed, during speeches, how she had talked to the bride on the phone before she met her and how they became close. She expressed the sentiments of many as she told all how happy she was to have the bride be part of their family.<\/p>\n\"Purple-Navy-Blue-Wedding<\/a>\n

As the couple took to the dance floor for a choreographed first dance, Kiss the Girl<\/em> by Samuel E. Wright played. Afterwards, I Loved Her First<\/em> by Heartland played for the father & daughter dance followed by Itty, Bitty Man<\/em> by Jackson to celebrate the bond between mother & son.<\/p>\n

For a little fun, the garter toss was done as ZZ Top\u2019s Sharp Dressed Man<\/em> played. They also did a garter replacement switch to Let\u2019s Get It On<\/em> by Marvin Gay. Then couple played the newlywed game.<\/p>\n

Dessert included a three-tiered pink champagne wedding cake with cream cheese\u00a0 frosting, lace detail and a burlap ribbon tied around each layer. Happily Ever After<\/em> was written in gold script across the cake stand.<\/p>\n

The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Jessica & Jacob. May the spark that turned a friendship into love continue to burn brightly. We wish you the best.<\/p>\n
