April 17, 2014 glowed as warmly as Sarah and Kyle who arrived at Villa Siena to marry one another. The couple first met when Sarah applied at Papa John’s and Kyle hired her.
For her wedding day, Sarah wore a strapless wedding gown with beaded detailing and pearls along the bust line. The gown laced up the back and had a lace skirt. Sarah’s veil had floral lace edging. The bridal bouquet was filled with white roses and green berries. The bridesmaids surrounded Sarah with warmth and love and brought a splash of color with coral strapless floral gowns. The bridesmaids bouquets incorporated coral gerbera daisies with white roses. For the ceremony Kyle wore a black tuxedo with black tie, black vest and white shirt. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with coral ties.
As part of the ceremony, the bride and groom surprised their mothers with roses. The couple also had a wine ceremony, where a bottle of wine, letters from the couple to each other and from the parents of the couple were sealed in order to open them on their first wedding anniversary. During the recessional, friends and family members tossed flower petals into the air. Afterwards, the bride teased the groomsmen with a fake flower toss just for them.
At the reception, the best man and maid of honor gave toasts. The first dance for the married pair was She’s Got A Way by Billy Joel followed by the father/daughter dance to I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack and the mother/son song to A Song For My Son by Mikki Viereck.
Favors were apropos; For Richer or Poorer lottery cards. A candy table was filled with pink candy for guests. The three-tiered wedding cake was elegant and understated with floral decoration topped with a K and S in silver with crystals.
Congratulations Sarah and Kyle. May you both dance within the arms of each other’s love for all the days to come. We wish you the best.
