March 28, 2014 marked the wedding day of Melissa and Alvin. The two met at Alvin’s doctor’s office where Melissa was a medical sales representative.
Their wedding day was filled with blue skies and sunshine. For the ceremony, Alvin wore a grey tuxedo with satin piping, a gray vest and a white shirt. His groomsmen also had grey tuxedos but had blue vests and ties.
A red runner lined with white rose petals led Melissa to her groom. The bride was preceded by her bridesmaids, who wore blue floor-length gowns with a single shoulder strap decorated with flowers. Then Melissa walked down the aisle with her daughter. Alvin surprised the bride’s daughter by presenting her with a necklace during the ceremony. Melissa wore a strapless wedding gown that was fitted through the bodice before flowing into an A-line skirt. The gown was overlaid with lace and resembled a princess’ dress. Buttons flowed down the back. A diamond necklace added some sparkle and silver strappy shoes added some sass. She wore her hair in a half up-do with a veil attached underneath. A large veil of blush and champagne colored roses complimented the look. During the ceremony the couple sealed up a bottle of wine that they would open in a few years.
After the ceremony the maid of honor gave a touching toast. A photo booth offered a way for guests to preserve their memories of the day.
The couple treated their guests to a choreographed first dance to John Legend’s All of Me.
A three-layered square almond cake with cream cheese filling was a delicious way to end the night along with a sweet petit dessert table.
Congratulations Melissa and Alvin. May the love that shone between you two on your wedding day fill each and every day of your future together. We wish you the best.
