Karlee & Matt ~ October 11, 2014

October 11, 2014 a couple exchanged vows in a ceremony that was short and sweer, but as they said “the promises they made would last their whole lives.” Karlee and Matt came to Villa Siena to celebrate their love with friends and family. Guests were welcomed with a sign reading Happily Ever After Begins Here.

For her wedding celebration Karlee wore a fitted white lace Stella York gown with sweetheart neckline. A white satin belt with crystal accents added definition to the dress while the scalloped hem and train gave a vintage feel. The bride’s hair was worn in a half up-do with a veil. Coral heels were worn, which matched the coral, blush and soft pink roses of the bridal bouquet. The bridesmaids also brightened the day with coral dresses with empire waits and belts. Matt offset the vibrant color scheme with a tan tuxedo with white tie, vest and shirt. His groomsmen wore tan tuxedos with coral vests and ties.

For the ceremony the outdoor courtyard was bedecked with floral accents from coral rose petals in the fountain to coral confetti puffs at the ends of each aisle of chairs and petals along the edge of the runner. A unity candle was lit as part of the ceremony and no one could miss the flower girl in her tutu dress with a white headband or the ring bearer who was cute as button in a tan tuxedo with coral suspenders and bowtie. Atop the altar three golden goblets of varying heights on each side framed a floral arrangement.

For the toasts, the newlyweds sipped out of engraved champagne flutes with gold stems. During speeches the best man opened with a funny voicemail that got everyone laughing before he turned the speech more serious by thanking the bride and groom’s parents. After that he shared stories of his friendship with Matt and early dating stories of the bride and groom. The maid of honor spoke of how proud she was of Karlee.

A three-tiered wedding cake sparkled with gold crystal ribbons and scrolling detail. A gold monogrammed topper glittered while fresh flowers finished each tier. An engraved cake cutter and knife awaited their first use.

Congratulations Karlee and Matt. May not only your promises, but your love, laughter and joy also last a lifetime. We wish you the best.
