Jaclyn and Jordan originally met at a mutual friend’s birthday party but the couple didn’t start dating until a few years later. The wedding programs offered the ‘Starting Lineup’ for guests, which introduced the bridal party. During their wedding ceremony October 18, 2014, the couple sealed letters to one another in a wood wine box to be opened in a year. Instead of traditional vows, the couple wrote their own. The resulting vows were heartfelt, letting the guests feel the love the couple has for one another. The vows were so touching the bride couldn’t help but tearing up through hers. Aside from the serious moments, there was also much laughter.

Jacyln was a beautiful bride in a strapless gown of white lace with beaded detailing on the bodice. A headband of pearls and diamonds held the bride’s veil in place. Underneath the dress, silver strappy shoes sparkled. The bride carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers, which included stargazer lilies and roses. Her bridesmaids brought a splash of color to the ceremony with turquoise strapless dresses. Jordan wore a grey tuxedo with teal bowtie, vest and handkerchief and his groomsmen matched him.

At the reception, table numbers had pictures of the couple on them, as did the table board. During speeches the best man said he had known Jordan for twenty years and that the groom ‘hit the jackpot’ when he found Jaclyn. The couple’s first dance was to Ray Charles’ Come Rain or Come Shine. The first dance was followed by the father and daughter dance to My Girl and then the mother & son dance to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole.

Favors were commemorative wine glasses and coasters. On each glass Happily Ever After was etched along with the couple’s name and date of marriage.

A three-tiered white round cake was topped by a boy Sparky and girl Wilma. U of A and ASU colors were chosen for the cascade of fondant flowers that flowed down the side of the cake. Underneath the fondant red velvet and vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream awaited guests. For another sweet treat a platter of donuts awaited guests.

The night ended with a signature Villa Siena sparkler farewell. Congratulations Jaclyn & Jordan. May your lives together sparkle as brightly as your love for one another. We wish you the best.
