June 8, 2014 marked the day that Deidre and Michael said ‘I Do’ to one another. Because of the bright summer days in Arizona, the couple chose an indoor ceremony in the Chianciano Room. White rose petals lined the aisle towards the altar.

For her wedding day, Deidre chose a strapless wedding gown with a woven pattern across the top. A beaded belt added definition to the style, which flowed out from the thigh into a ruffled tulle skirt that resembled layers of feathers floating to the ground. The bride wore her hair down with a diamond fascinator in her hair. A beautifully bright bouquet of flowers with yellow orchids, and pink and orange roses was chosen. The bridesmaids wore different styles of sea foam dresses but wore matching shoes. Michael wore a black tuxedo with sea foam colored tie and vest, as did his groomsmen.

To mark the beginning of the ceremony, the ring bearer walked down the aisle carrying a sign reading Happily Ever After. As part of the ceremony the bride and groom and their families performed a sand ceremony with black and cream sand for the couple and red sands in individual jars for the children to pour in.

A guitarist played during the ceremony.

Congratulations Deidre and Michael. May the closeness of two families becoming one bring you peace and happiness. We wish you the best.
